I joined LJ 2 weeks ago. Someone welcomed mean warned me that this site is addictave. He didn’t say how addictavie it can be. I find myself coming in at noon, reading LJ, supper reading LJ, then in evening reading LJ. In between times I have TV on watching reno shows and DIY (Gotta keep in touch) ha ha.
I do enjoy the topics the people post here. Keep it up ,it makes this “oldfart” smile.

I myself am a new member, so welcome a board. I have been watching this site for some time now and noticed the amount of activity here. I belong to several Yahoo groups and even own one or two, they have nowhere near the activity this site has. Of course I’m a wood addict to begin with, so when someone gave me that warning all I could think of was then feed this junky.LOL I love this group everyone is friendly and quick with praise and help as well as interest in what your doing. Now if I just knew what I was doing I would be in great shape.LOL

Welcome aboard… This is the best woodworking site on the net. It has grown so much since I’ve joined, that it is just unbelievable. There is so much here. Martin has done an A+++ job in its design.

Greetings ya’ll: Don’t worry…...after you’ve been on here awhile like myself, and thousands of others, you’ll settle in and get comfortable with what’s going on. One thing I can tell you…. pay attention and learn. Gain knowledge from some of the best woodworkers in the world, and I do mean world. We have them from nearly every country, so ask questions, listen, and learn from these folks(guys and gals), and you won’t regret joining.
So… welcome aboard….we’re here to help anyway we can… if some don’t know the answer, others will. The “new” will wear off, so get ready for an adventure…..... keep on keeping on…........ later.

Welcome to LJ! I, too joined recently and found myself using the computer far more than I ever have in the past and my wife is also surprised at me for this. I must say I love this LJ network and have learned a lot from it. Hope to learn a lot more and will share something if I find it useful.
