I live in Frederick Maryland but have property in the mountains near Somerset Pa. I have always enjoyed working with wood and have done a few projects over the years but the kids seem to get in the way of the priority list. They are now just about ready to fly the coop and I am looking into some projects to keep me busy.
The property has many large Cherry, Oak and Maple that are straight as an arrow and I am going to be clearing a few to put up a cabin. I have some thought of using the lumber to build but it seems to be a very large task.
