177 reads and no comments. No furniture desingers out there? Here’s something designed by yours truly. Made from leftover cedar for a sauna I did. This is #3 of five pictured here.

So, a 70 YO retired speech therapist with no experience shouldn’t apply?
I do have a good knowledge of Clayton, though.
Seriously, I hope some LJ can fill your needs. Sounds like an interesting and challenging position.

Hi Justin!

I just came across your post, and am really interested in the position! I studied product design, and art and design at school and always loved furniture the most.

If you had any more information about that job, other than the general description, I’d love to hear it. And if you need anymore info from me, just let me know.

Thanks!

we are based in the Saint Louis, Mo area… this would be a fulltiime position that would require relocation to this area. we specialize in entertainment furniture (ie.. tv stands) but are looking to expand into bedroom and office furniture as well. most of our furniture is RTA (ready to assemble) but also have a small line of casegoods that we sell to large furniture stores. some of our larger accounts include…. Best Buy, HHgregg, Sony, Samsung and Mitsubishi. the position would require working on creating new designs and concepts, technical drawings, trend and market research, assembly of prototypes and testing, some graphic design layouts for customer presentations and possibly some travel to customer presentations. we are a small group and work hard…. being a small group we each “wear multiple hats” within the company, so we need someone who can join our company and contribute to our sucess! if you have a portfolio and resume you can send it to design.resume.info@gmail.com
we are currently in the process of reviewing and interviewing all submissions and are looking to hire someone asap.
let me know if you have any questions! you can also send me a personal message on LJs with questions…
thanks for your interest KNR!
