Website:

I live on a lake in westcentral Minnesota, with my wife of fourty four years & two grandchildren and a springer spaniel named Buster (the wonder dog). Woodworking has been my hobby since woodshop 1962. My shop is in the lower level (walk out). Both of the grandkids (Emmaly 17 and Devon 14) spend a lot of time in the shop with me. They both enjoy making sawdust.

Hello Bob,

Welcome to LJs. I am sure that you will find this to be an enjoyable and rewarding part of your woodworking adventure.

-- With God's help all things are possible- even woodworking. Woodworking is not just a hobby, it is an (expletive deleted) expensive hobby.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless

Welcome to Lumberjocks.

If you cover the ‘boat’ in your picture with sawdust it will last much longer and use up some of the mounds of sawdust that seem to collect with this hobby :-)
