Hello! I make a living with my hands and woodworking is a big advantage to getting jobs! I love working at home at MY pace ,augie dog eating scraps, satalite radio playing, doors open, sun shining, and a real "head scratcher" job unfolding on the workbench...I like jobs that make me learn something, and the famous "honey, i need this tool to do this job" helps me get what I want..I mean need ! I've built stairs and installed railings for 25 years now, and am back into construction again. There's not alot of work out there so the shop is getting scarey... clean and organized, but that won't last long! We hunt, fish, and grow most of our own food, which are my favorite things to do. Nothing better than diggin' some taters and frying up some fresh catfish!

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
