Thanks all for the warm welcome. I am reasonably skilled with the basic tools, but struggle on some details (like I had to ‘learn how to make/install barrister doors’ on this recent project. I am a total newby when it comes to quality wood selection – which I know is important and in staining/top coating – especially in this new, more water-based world, so I look forward to your help and advice. I hope I also am a valued contributor with time.
