I'm 67 years old, spent 4 years in the Navy on Destroyers, spent 30 years in telecommunications and retired from Lucent in 1999. Grew up the son of a General Contractor and opened my own Remodeling/Building company after I retired. I built two custom homes, but most of my business was basement finishes, bath and kitchen remodels. I'm fully retired, now and have a great home shop. I like to build furniture and work on intarsia projects, but I'm open to just about anything. I spend a lot of time in my shop with my little furry helper, Fibi.

Hey Bubbs Welcome to Lumber Jocks from another colorado woodworker. Just up the road in Erie. Would love to get together for coffee some day and talk projects. Love your intarsa. I have always threatened to try it but so far haven’t found the time or the nerve. Look forward to seeing many of your projects.

Woodenwizard…I’m a big coffee fan (bacon and eggs, too). Just say when and where. No rush, I’m always up for meeting fellow woodworkers.

Woodenwizard…by the way,I see that you are very good at marquetry. I’d. really like to give that a try. I have no idea how it’s done.

Can relate Bubbs on your not having seen your PC mitersaw in a while….lol I get a sinking feeling evry time I hear my son open the door to the basement. He has a hard time grasping the concept of “put it back where ya got it”...lol Have a great day out there in the big CO.
