I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome after my question about the Cal Hawk jointer. I have been collecting wood working machinery for years but don’t have a whole lot of experience using it because of a job that was close to 24/7. I have retired now so have time to use the tools that I have collected. I did build a table/bench for my wife that everyone that has seen it wants to know where I got it and also a step ladder to replace a short two step aluminum ladder that had seen its better days. I will see if I can figure out how to show you a picture of it.

Congratulations on finally earning the time to enjoy your hobby. It’s an uphill struggle that I can relate to. Welcome to Lumberjocks. May you have a long and enjoyable stay here.
