Looks like you’re having fun! What’s the lumber going to be used for?

Outstanding! Do you have any problem with flex across the log with only one tie?

i’m looking at using the lumber to build my house.Any thoughts on going with rough cut? As far as the flex goes i do not seem to have any problem with flex. The orange-ish colored beam that i am using is metal and is fastened with screws to the side of the log. That becomes my straight edge.I did use a 2×6 at first but it had a small amount of twist that resulted in a slightly “un-square” log or kant. The orange beam in the picture is metal and therefore more rigid which is closer to what i was looking for as far as “Square”. Thanks for responding to the pictures.
