I did some wood shop classes in Jr. and Sr. high school, and worked a bit in my Dads shop during the summers growing up. Once I bought my first house (and recovered from the remodelling), I started on a work space of my own.
I completed the shop/shed in 2007. The last two couple of years have been spent developing my sawdust creation skills and collecting the necessary tools. I'm discovering just how therapeutic the buzzing of the table saw and sander can be.
