Greetings All Lumberjocks,

I'm in Boothbay Harbor, Maine hand have been woodworking for about 25 years. My favorite style is Shaker because of it's simplicity.

About 5 years ago we put together a number of artisans in the area and fixed up an old farm stand to form a gallery co-op with items made of iron, wood, stone and glass.

The theory was 15 members who each would work 2 days a month and also we take in consignment items as long as everything is made in Maine.

The past 4 years has been a learning experience and if anyone out there is interested in doing the same please don't hesitate to contact me. Also, if you are considering putting your work in a gallery please contact me and I will give you some tips from the other side.

This is an excellent site and everyone seems very helpful. I really look forward to it in the future.

Brian
