I began wood working at a yong age because it is what my father did for a living. Took shop classes in high school and continued to work on my skills. While I was in the Navy I frequented the base hobby shops so I could feed my hobby.
I have since retired from the Navy, and now that I am not transferring from town to town every three or four years, I have been able to create my own "hobby shop" in my two car garage.
Projects I have made over the years include a dining room table and hutch, entertainment stands, music stands and instrument stands for for son, kitchen cabinets, and numerous other small projects. Every time I compete one project, it gives my wife another idea of what I can make next.
I find relaxation in the tranquil tediousness of woodworking and hope to be doing it for a long time to come.

Welcome aboard Shipmate!!! Nice to have another surface sailor among us. I was thinking of changing my pic to a shot of the fleet at Norflok when I spotted your carrier.

Thanks for the kind words Brian. The photos are of low quality, there are a few minor details that need to be tweaked but it is near complete. Your project looks pretty cool. I hope my bench lasts as long as your cabinet has.
Best regards,

Brian, Welcome to LJs. I was asking the forum about Wedges for a 4 inch Craftsman/King-Seeley Jointer. Model# 103.21861. I understand that you may own a similar model? What I would like to know is can you send me a picture of them and their dimensions? Or is their a detail picture of them somewhere that I could tap into? I would really appreciate it.
