I have finally found the time to get back to making videos. Seems like it has been over a year. Feels good to be able to share again: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjRwVZZffCDTQsUXXnzznPCh5GxPksNb6

I was aware that I had a talent for working wood since the 8th grade, but never had the opportunity to cultivate those skills until 2003, when I decided to turn my two car garage into a wood shop. Ever since, it has been an obsess.... uh... passion. I like to think that I represent what is possible to any serious amateur woodworker, and that although I have accomplished a skill level of a professional, that there is still much to learn.
When I first setup shop in 2003, I though that I already new everything there was to know about woodworking from my experience in high school shop class. (Yeah, right.) Here I am six years later, and my "things-to-learn-and-do" list has only gotten longer. Perhaps this is what keeps me interested in Woodworking. I thoroughly enjoy constantly pushing my skills to their limits. It does not always work out well and sometimes I wonder what I got myself into, but I would rather try and fail than not try at all—and I always come out wiser at the other end of the project. In the words of Michelangelo, "The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it."

Take a peek into my bowl making process! Lately, I have been doing a lot of studying and reading about how to make good videos. One thing I noticed about the particular mistakes made in poor videos is that most of the mistakes violate one basic...
This is a video I made to promote my turning sales, but I think that my fellow woodturners and woodworkers will enjoy it as well. Ooop! Almost forgot the disclaimer: WARNING: Woodturning can—is—highly addictive. Brian Havens, The Fall...
I found figuring out how to make these ornaments quite a fun challenge. (I already posted this video in my projects, but apparently that does not get it onto the LumberJocks Video Page) http://lumberjocks.com/projects/57125#comment-1116565
