My shop takes up one stall of my garage. The building is 30’ X 36’ with in-floor heat, and the garage doors are R18 which is needed in this part of the country. The shop has four 110v 20amp circuits, and two 220v 30amp circuits, a wireless network so I can transfer CAD files from my home office to the shop. When working on big projects, the cars are out and the shop tends to grow. I just got a new dust collector and plan to have overhead plumbing to each machine. Some of my equipment is old and has been passed down in the family, but all is in great working order.

Hey,
I like your shop.
How do you find the Grizzly Band Saw? I am looking to purchase a Band Saw and would like to know what your results have been. I have been looking at Grizzly, Rikon, Laguna. But they are all big price jumps…
The Grizzly’s are the MOST economical, but I want to buy a saw I won’t regret. I find I purchase a tool or machine, then get pissed off at myself for not spending an extra $100 or so for better options…
Hey..NICE job on your shop, good luck to you.

Hey Steve,
I love my Grizzly Band Saw…. I bought a 6” extension block kit for it and have cut boards up to 10” thick and the thickness has been even. The garage doors which are in my projects folder are only 1/4 thick all cut on my band saw. That project alone I cut over a 1000 board feet.
