This black walnut tree was taken down in August by a home owner about a block from me. The home owner for some reason had to cut this big black walnut down. Luckily I came across it and manage to save it from the fireplace. We shared the lumber and labor to mill it down with my chainsaw mill. Shown is small top section above the trunk.
