Welcome to Martysville. A piece of dirt on the upper northside of Martinsville, in the high class redneck district. Now that we are thru the holidays and the sawdust has had a chance to settle a bit, I figured it would be a good time to show you the WoodShack. It is a 32 by 24 foot area with my wood shop taking a bit over 2/3 of that.

My toys consists of: Craftsman 10” table saw, Craftsman 10” radial arm saw, Craftsman 12” band saw, Craftsman 1” belt & 4” belt sanders, 4 Craftsman routers (1/4” & 1/2”), Delta 12” planer, Delta scroll saw, Rockwell/Delta shaper, Buffalo 6” jointer, Guardian Power drill press, and a generic wood lathe (hey, don’t laugh, I’ve had it about 20 years and it gets the job done).

I’ve enjoyed creating things since I was a young critter and developed that into a woodworking hobby that ranges from toys to cabinetry to what ever the imagination brings…..

Very nice woodshack. Where is the coffee pot? And double doors that you can role up when the weather is good.
Thanks for sharing.

Pretty clean. Is it always that way, or is this just for the pictures?
Looks like a great place to work in.

Rob, I picked that up in an auction a couple of years ago. It’s been a good one. I removed the electronic panel ‘cuz mice had got in there and chewed it up. The wife is suppose to fix it…..

Thanks A1Jim…..

Thanks Charles, I’m gradually getting it in order and hanging drywall. I think I spend more time there then I do in the house…..

I’m touring all the Nubber’s workshops, but I thought I’d look at your “Museum” also!!! I have a few questions, if you please.

Q1: Where did the A/C get installed?
Q2: Where is the silicone “girlfriend”?
Q3: Why is there a lawn tractor in your workshop, err I mean museum?

-- Randy-- I may not be good...but I am slow!
