I have enjoyed woodworking for years, but most of my projects have been strictly functional ie.. end tables, dining table, beds. These were built with most basic power tools, circular saw, drill, finishing sander, using basic joinery.
About 3 years ago we had several nice trees downed by storms and using a chainsaw mill my son built I milled a few boards. WOW!! I was hooked.
I have upgraded to a linn lumber bandsaw mill my son and I built from one of their kits. And plan to build a solar kiln.
I am enjoying all of the projects listed on lumberjocks and I hope to build some of them myself.
