Thanks for the warm welcome, folks! I’m looking forward to visiting this site often. I’ve always been fascinated with woodworking, but my hobbies have always been centered around the automotive field. Well, I told my wife, when I finish my 14 year restoration project on my ‘71 Chevy p/u, that I will be plunging in to woodworking. I finished the truck last April and I really enjoy driving it, but I now have my garage converted into a woodworking shop & I’m ready to go. My first project, well, actually my second project, will be a nice work bench. The first project was a cradle that I built for my grandson about 2 years ago (had to take a sabatical from the truck project to get the cradle completed).
Well, anyway, I’m looking forward to learning a lot from you all.
