Where do get the spindle sleeves? I think the industry standard for oscillating spindle sanders is 4 1/2” the rigid has a 4” spindle, do you buy the 4 1/2” and cut them down or is there a source for the 4”?

That stuff is nasty. This is the last time I’m going to use made in China plywood. I choke and gag w/ from the very first cut. I never have that problem w/ other plywoods.

I got an email today that said “asiruuslp commented on a profile” Now when I click on my profile home it comes up briefly then kicks over to Canadian Drugstore website. WTF! This happen to anyone else? What is the fix? I use a Firefox browser w/ ad blocker.

For those of you that have some experience repairing electric motors, how hard is it? I have an old Rockwell motor from my old lathe, probably ‘70s vintage. I’m in the market for a new hacksaw. I find myself cutting metal more and more as I am learning to make some of my own tools. My ancient Craftsman works okay, but I am thinking that one of the newer high tension hacksaws might be better. Does anybody have recommendations?

Bandsaw support? - 5 replies
I need a way to support some rather heavy bench legs while I cut them on the bandsaw. The table on the saw is too small and my HF roller stand is a couple inches short and rather flimsy. Anybody got any good ideas?

I have been thinking about adding HVLP to my arsenal of tools. I have no experience w/ spraying other than rattle can. What should I look at to get started purchasing what do I need to get started. I don’t currently own a compressor. One thing I know for sure I want to spray is milk paint.

How long to leave clamps on when working w/ Titebond II as a minimum. Normally I try to glue up in the evening and un-clamp the next morning but I’m in a bit of a hurry to pull my clamps and move on to the next glue up. Is 2 hours sufficient?
