Finding a new drive belt for my Delta portable planer Model 22-540
Recently I was planning some 4/4 walnut and cherry to make a box. I got greedy and was gang feeding the 10 inch wide by 14in long boards thru the planer and the cutter head slowed down but the motor kept up the rpms and then everything stopped except the motor. I melted the drive belt! To make a long story short, I called every Porter Cable Delta place to see if I could get a new drive belt. Absolutly no luck, was told at the last place that the belt was discontinued. Nooo! Fortunately the word Bando and a number was printed on the belt.
