I have been woodworking since 1979. I have worked wood for a hobby ever since. woodworking is what i enjoy in my off time from my career. Being in the fast lane during the week woodworking allows me to with draw from the noise and retreat to simple times and easier pace. I love the smell of sawdust and the sound of nature as I work wood into a form that someone else can find enjoyment. I like to see someone's face when they see thier piece I have built for them. I work in both old style hand tools and modern power tools. I am comfortable using both and feel that both is needed to conform to woodworking. After all if, our forefathers would have had power tools I am assured they would be proud to use them. So as I tell my team at least once a week Hammer Down!
