Would like to build a portable poker chip carrying case (650 chips) for my son who will be turning 25 in early March. Have seen some examples, but they look too complicated for me or they seem more like a box than a carrying case… Any plans you can share or Web site to suggest?
He currently uses an aluminum case which has taken a beating and is falling to pieces… Would prefer using oak or other harwood, which I will sand and stain myself.
Completing this project on time wouldl mean a lot to me.
Thanks for your help!

The Wood Whisperer did one this year, the project (and plans) was featured on the cover of Woodcraft Magazine. I think he has the plans on his site as well.

Woodsmith magazine had a nice plan awhile back, I believe it was issue 158.
Have your say...
