The Workbench Diary is a pretty nice blog in its own right, but the YouTube Video posted there is definitely worth a look. If you have the least bit of geek in you you will really like seeing the museum’s technology. Even if you don’t, just seeing this piece from 1580 is worth a look.

That is an interesting video. Like Brian, I, too wonder about the construction of the cabinet but also wonder how much it cost to do all that analysis. I don’t think Harbor Freight has discount coupons for their scanning electron microscopes. Matter of fact, I’ve never even seen them list a gas chromatograph or mass spectrometer.LOL
