Building a Tablesaw Base Part 1

04-11-2013 12:15 AM by WoodJediNTraining | 13 comments »

Recently I had a need to build a new table saw base for my saw. Rather than just building a simple replacement base, I opted to build one with lots of storage potential. This new base measures 6 feet long by 2 feet wide, which gave me good reason to move over to the new shop building. I haven’t yet finished the new shop set up ( haven’t even started) but this build is a great start giving me lots of options for storage potential… This build is a 2 part project. So be sure to...

Getting Organized with recessed Shelf Units

01-23-2013 09:37 PM by WoodJediNTraining | 3 comments »

In my last video I showed you all the renovation of the old shop space, during that renovation, I made some recess cavities in one wall of the shop. In this video I walk you through the steps of making the recess shelf unit to go into those cavities. These recess shelves are not just for the shop, they can be used in the home as well! Add some glass shelves and you have a nice knick-knack display shelf, or use them around the home for any organizing needs.

04-20-2011 02:24 PM by JoeyG | 3 comments »

I have been grabbing an hour here and there letting things like the grass slide (I am going to do it when I finish this post). I have 6 boxes well on there way, pieces cut for another 9, and that takes care of most of Christmas. Here are a few pics of my progress so far. I have used a lot of different woods and think that most are listed in early post in this thread. I hope to be able to post some of them completely finished soon. As with all things, time will tell. !https://s3.am...

Build a Steam Box

07-27-2013 11:41 PM by WoodJediNTraining | 8 comments »
