When a viewer sent me a comment asking if I could make a First Aid Cabinet for the workshop, I thought to myself. “Yea what a perfect project to do”, because I am setting up the new shop, and it was the one thing missing. The First aid Cabinet was made almost entirely out of Pallet Wood. Oh yea! my first Pallet Project! http://www.asimpledesignofocala.com – Websitehttp://www.ufoww.com – The United Federation of Woodworkers Member Sitehttp://www.twitter...

I am delighted i went into McQuillans in Dublin yesterday and got my first piece of exotic hardwood, i got some zebrano (zebra wood) they were selling loads of pieces of exotic harwood in blanks and in little bocks, its around 2 foot long and around 2 inches square. It was the first proper tradesmen shop i had been in, so it was the first shop i had seen with table saws, power planers, bandsaws etc. it was amazing.
Along with Woodworking, I enjoy a new hobby, Screen Printing T-shirts. I started a New Foundation for woodworkers Across the globe to unite and connect. And I am starting to print T-shirts for the UFOWW and found a need for a screen printing press. So here is a look at that build Also I had a short follow up on some notes about the press and why im posting a day early..

Recently I had a need to build a new table saw base for my saw. Rather than just building a simple replacement base, I opted to build one with lots of storage potential. This new base measures 6 feet long by 2 feet wide, which gave me good reason to move over to the new shop building. I haven’t yet finished the new shop set up ( haven’t even started) but this build is a great start giving me lots of options for storage potential… This build is a 2 part project. So be sure to...
