Triton Router Update!

Gang, A while ago I posted this blog entry (http://lumberjocks.com/thiel/blog/14521) about how I needed to replace the worm drive in my Triton table router since it had stripped. Triton (having been purchased by HTC tools) sent me out the new part with no questions asked, and I’d found an excellent description of the replacement process online. Gang, Like a few of you, I bought the FWW “Editors Pick” Triton MOFOO1 2.25 HP Router for use in my router table. That was about 18 months ago. Despite light use, the lift mechanism quickly broke. Triton (now owned by HTC) was apologetic and helpful with replacement parts. The culprit is a NYLON (wow, what a dumb design choice) worm drive.
