How many people find that a basement is the ideal place for a woodworking shop? I am guessing that the number is high for those who prefer a basement and it might even be 50:50 between those who opt for the basement or the garage. basement work shop #1: close to finished

Well , after a few weeks I’m just about done building my basement workshop. I still have some odds and ends to do. I did start scrolling and trying out the equipment to make sure I didn’t have to adjust something. So far, everything seems to be going well. The dust collection system is working great! The only thing I need to do for that is to run a dedicated line to it. It doesn’t blow breakers, but you can tell it’s straining the line when it goes on. The bandsa...
