3rd Update on the Hymn Number Stand

852 days ago by Mark A. DeCou | 9 comments »

I had a nice weekend. Saturday I worked with a local cabinet maker helping him catch up on his schedule. We are nearly finished with the 3rd kitchen cabinet job, and then he will be caught up. I think I have worked about 8-9 days this summer with him on Saturdays. Sunday was relaxing, went to church and then home with the family, and a nap. A nap makes a lot of things better for some reason (not to take anything away from church). Today, Monday, I have the Hymn Number Board just abo...

Important New Tool Added to the Shop for Summer

862 days ago by Mark A. DeCou | 17 comments »

Just a quick note to show a photo of an important new addition to the shop. Last Fall a neighbor said that they had a large window air conditioner that I could have if I wanted it. Shop Tools #2: Work Sharp - The Wood Tool Sharpener Review

917 days ago by WayneC | 40 comments »

I have been looking for a sharpener for a while and came close to coughing up $250 for the Jet clone of the Tormak when the woodworking show was in town last month. I had also seen the Work Sharp on the web. Dan Like had seen one in action and given it his endorsement. There is a video of it on thier web site if your interested in seeing it in action. Wood Magazine has a review of it as well as a video of it in action. Two weeks ago when I was on my way home from the bay area I stopped ...
