260 days ago by frank | 2 comments »

Ghost’s of Wood ....this place i am found in as part of the all, can be said to be a mis-taken identity, that preceded from what other’s called the call, before i made a case for individuality-of-entity…. —-when i was young and free as the rivulets of wind swept icy snow flakes, there was the sense of knowing all that i needed to know, and what was there to stop my dreams from entertaining my imagination, since who could stand before the presence of who i am̷...

Logged Off ‘Wood Art’ Treasure ....silent and screaming at all of now, i went far from those who tried to define me, after all since i am my own definition, why should i let other’s impose their stories upon me…. —-and over time i came to realize the need for being more, more about being about my own artistic relevance to capturing art, art is the purpose of style that co-inhabits with who i am, played out after staying up for ages inside my head…. ...

"Old Growth and the Ancient Ones" --by RusticWoodArt

355 days ago by frank | 11 comments »

Old Growth and the Ancient Ones ....’old growth’ that I have found! While out Sunday afternoon in the forest here, we (my wife and I) set out to discover some new territory in the surrounding habitat of the woods and I happened to come upon some pines that were growing on an eastern slope of a hill. At the bottom of a ravine I first spotted an old pine that had escaped the logging crews of yesteryear. At first I thought this one was the only one out there, but after looking ...

Blogging at “Eastern Thought” ”Building the Timber Frame House” —by Ted Benson and Part 1 the Past, chapter 1; page 3….Ted writes; ”If Japanese carpentry was highly evolved, it was also fiercely competitive. The craft was developed within a family guild system that maintained tight security over construction techniques and strict authority concerning procedure among it’s members. Intense rivalry between the major guilds had the positive effect of keeping the sta...
