Echo-Friendly Habitat//Furniture Building
....and so as we continue to search and re-fine a name for a website, let us not get caught in a ‘wooden’ box of our own making and in so doing, fail to gather and draw from the world around us, all that is fast becoming ‘echo friendly’.

Found a Power Tool

Drupes and Drupaceous Nuts as Tung Oil

A Northern Version of YardWork

Reflections on Beavers and Trees
Out here in the woods, I am part of a whole picture where what happens with wood….also happens to all involved with wood, plus those un-in-volved with wood….hmmm, are any who are really non-existent from wood? A friend of mine passed this on to me from a science fiction blog called io9.com. It’s a brief article on a woodworker named Jahnna Y. Klukas. I popped over for a quick look at her site and spent the next 30 minutes saying “Oh my God.” over and over again. Her work is simply amazing. This is just one of the pieces called “Hall of the Mountain King”
I think this has given me about a year’s worth of inspiration (and a really long wish list).
