The finished look of the bed can be trimmed and finished to match your homes decor, really the limit on the final look is only limited by your imagination. Shadow Casting Lamp

248 days ago by WoodJediNTraining | 7 comments »

This shadow casting lamp creates a cool effect to any room by casting a shadow on a wall of any scene you’d like to create in the lamps silhouette panels. For this project I used horses. The front of the lamp shows a horse in a natural calm state on all 4’s . And the frosted front panel of glass gives a nice subtle tone of light to illuminate the room. The back of the lamp has a silhouette of a horse raring on it’s hind legs. This is the side that casts a shadow on...

919 days ago by RonPeters | 7 comments »

Ok, I’m back… Had a bit of an issue with the bending iron. It seems it is rather delicate and putting it on high (10) is a no no. It’s a Watlow ‘Firerod’ embedded in the aluminum tower. The current flow at 10 apparently burns out the element? It requires about an hour to get to bending temperature – and had I read the sheet that it came with… It was repaired free of charge and henceforth I will be careful to mind the dial! Nothing past 5 from no...

Although all my previous designing, my efforts to get the piece of furniture to the very best end I can, usually met lots of minor cuestions to be solved, before finishing the job to my complete satisfaction.
