Sharpening Center #5: Consolidated Center

Finally, I placed all of my sharpening equipment and sharpening stones onto this single mobile cart. This is my sharpening center. It consists of my Grizzly T100010ANV 10” Wet Grinder that I used my Tormek sharpening jigs that are mainly used to sharpen my turning chisels. New to Review #1: New Grizzly wet grinder arrived today

Finally I’ve been able to move off the high speed bench grinder that I initially messed my turning tools up on and was able to get this little Grizzly. This evening I used it for the first time and WOW. After I finished sharpening and honing on the strop wheel the edges were so much sharper and polished than they were before. I’ll post a review as I use it more and the excitement of having a new “toy” wears off. :) So far though I’m very impressed.

An update on my personal sharpening methods. When I read in the blog I realized it looked like I use only my water grinder and this is not the case, so I decided for a little update showing my sharpening gear. I like to use the Lansky system for my household and tour knifes this because it is portable and because I keep it in my kitchen so I always have scrap knifes.It is easy to use and almost meditative to sit and sharpen a knife with.A product I can highly recommend for knifes, and i...
