‘Uproot’ Sideboard table build

I wrapped up finishing and posted the completed project: The photos below can be viewed larger size in the flickr set. === This project began with a plan to make use of a 1” slab of maple I got my hands on recently. My wife and I are expecting a new baby shortly, so our youngest child will be abandoning his toddler’s bed for a “big boy” bed. It’s only a twin mattress – but it’s pretty massive for a four year old. And quite the step up from his toddler’s bed. I’ve been slowly getting into woodworking for the past two years. Design to Conception Are you interested in doing inlay, veneer, designing and building a project on your own? Here’s an example of a job I designed and built for a client last year.
