Sharpening chisels—forget weaker micro bevels Controversial though it may seem, and though adopting micro-bevel methods for sharpening chisels may seem to make sense, a freehand convex bevel actually gives exactly the same sharpness as any micro-bevel method, but takes only a fraction of the time to develop. Well four of the members of this site got together on a Saturday afternoon. BoxcarMarty, Eddie, William and Superdave721 meet up at Williams Shop. We had a wonderful time. We told tall tails and discussed woodworking. Gifts were exchanged and I believe the coffee pot never ran dry.Marty was coming down on a trip to the Gulf of Mexico and that gave us an chance to get together.
