1187 days ago by Sheila Landry (scrollgirl) | 10 comments »

Well, yesterday turned out to be a wonderful day on many levels. The weather was nearly perfect. The sun was shining and it was warm enough for a light jacket. I even had the top down on the car when I made a trip to the grocery store. It is amazing how getting outside for a while can do wonders for your mood. Even if it is a short time. I definitely had “spring fever!” However, there was work to be done and I was also excited about seeing my latest project come to life. ...

My Journey As A Scroll Saw Pattern Designer #358: Busy Times, Good Times

1155 days ago by Sheila Landry (scrollgirl) | 8 comments »

My Journey As A Scroll Saw Pattern Designer #352: Rambling and Some Pictures for Dennis

1161 days ago by Sheila Landry (scrollgirl) | 7 comments »

There is something about polar animals that enchant me. I don’t know what it is. I have always looked at them as creatures of great beauty. It strikes me as odd because as a painter, I am quite fond of color. I love painting wildlife and big cats and playing with the shading and tones and making them look realistic. My Journey As A Scroll Saw Pattern Designer #193: Getting "Unstuck" by Changing Gears

1326 days ago by Sheila Landry (scrollgirl) | 8 comments »

I really like when I get so involved in doing a project that I can’t wait to get up in the morning to get at it. Today was one of those days. I decided to paint a wooden sewing box for a friend of mine who loves to do counted cross stit...
