Well, yesterday turned out to be a wonderful day on many levels. The weather was nearly perfect. The sun was shining and it was warm enough for a light jacket. I even had the top down on the car when I made a trip to the grocery store. It is amazing how getting outside for a while can do wonders for your mood. Even if it is a short time. I definitely had “spring fever!” However, there was work to be done and I was also excited about seeing my latest project come to life. ...
You are the best!!! I asked yesterday if you would go and check out my newly designed website and over 200 of you answered the call. So with that I say a big thank you! I will be adding burls daily for the next week or so, so please keep checking back. Today I will be listing some beautiful fiddle back walnut lumber and a large quilted Maple billet. As soon as I figure out a coupon code I will extend 10% off of your whole order exclusive to LJs. Another way you can help is when yo...

I am a little slow out of the gate today, but it wasn’t without purpose. Yesterday was a very full day and I accomplished a lot. My early start paid off and although I thought that by the middle of the afternoon I would have a bit of a letdown and get tired, that didn’t really happy. I didn’t start cutting until late afternoon and finished up around ten. Even after that I was still excited about the project and got some of the general sanding done on it and the first coa...
We never thought at the time to chronicle this project with photos, so I will try to muddle through with the few I have. I wish we got a photo of the pile of lumber and panels when they arrived in our trailer, but I can tell you that the site of them caused me to think – - &$#)@ WHAT ARE WE DOING !!!!—- :) Below are some shots of some parts layed out on the floor in an attempt to make some sense of it all. Click on the photo to get a full size view. Above is an attempt t...
We all enjoyed making this custom bed but, I am glad it is finished. I have posted it as a finished project. I hope you all enjoyed the process in making this. If you guy’s and gal’s have any questions on this project please, feel free to ask.
