Here’s one of a gentleman that wanted one of his youth to give to his Mother. He has a lot of feeling for her.
I had all these great ideas about this workbench, and how i was going to make it….sort of missed a BIG mistake. The leg vise i made, didn’t clear the top drawer. Such a DUMB mistake. Unfortunately i didn’t spot it until i was too far along. So i panicked and cut the vise to fit. After sleeping on it, i decided that too was really DUMB. but i had already cut it…. Look for yourself, please don’t laugh too hard (or if you do, don’t post it) BEFORE...

He always pushes so hard and his dream was to one day be able to write a book. Well h...

I’m really enjoying the pace of the class with enough structure to keep it moving, but plenty of time to get to know David and the other students and to get all our questions answered. My goal is to establish a broad foundation in wood finishi...

It is my opinion that pine 2×6’s and 3/4 ply MORE than cover any of the structural needs of a work bench. So the next big argument FOR traditional w...

This is my attempt at a book box.Made with mahogany and pine. For the inlay I just used the table saw to make the grove. The hinges have taken up the most time but are very rewarding once they work properly. I will update the project as it progresses with photos.
