Well on my way from Sao Paulo to Campinas, Brazil, I thought I would pause to take this pic for everyone. Can you imagine all the teak and brazilwood and mahogany and brazilian cheery and santos rosewood and …. that are in this picture of the Amazon (rain forest not .com) The people hear burn teak for firewood. I just got a lot of neet tools at an auction today. Just wanted to share with you.In dont need the wood rasps so if any one wants to make an offer I would sure entertain one. There are 8 files I won’t be keeping. Also I threw the Makita sharpener on ebay. I already have one.I got the scoll saw for $60 with the stand! I am excited! Lumber Supply Resource In the Midwest

I recently came across a supply of lumber from a business here in Cincinnati, OH, Midwest Woodworking. It is owned by a second generation businessman, Frank David. The warehouse he has is probably well over 40,000 sq feet. Spread out across 2 floors are some of the longest complete boules of lumber I’ve ever seen in Sapele, Mahogany and Makore. This is some wood I got from a job that was on so valueable every scrap had to be saved for three months after it was installed I watched as it was sat unstickered in a east window rained upon, stacked upon, I saved it from the dumpster twice, kicked over and I would go over and restack it(I’m an electrician), lunch upon get this crap outta the way upon, and I would always say I’d love to have that wood I’ll get out of the way” We have to keep it it is valuable” ...
