These then are cut out to match any adjoining piece and placed on my master copy. Once completed with cut outs, creat the different depths you...

We have a store chain in Maine that buys up other going out of business or damaged goods stuff and sells it in their stores. It’s called Mardens. It’s full of stuff. On any day you might see a bunch of GE refrigerators from a buy out of a furniture store going out of business, or a bunch of stuff from various stores in a hurricane damaged area. I’ve purchasted 99 cent twelve inch bessey F clamps, and $10 sixty inch bailey parallel cabinet clamps. Not to mention the LLbean s...

Bending wood is something I have never tried before and is out of my comfort zone. I wanted to dive into this area of woodworking and challenge myself as well as learn something new. So of the various forms of wood bending (Laminated Bending, Milled Bending, Steam Bending) I chose steam bending to be my first attempt. The kit I purchased included the reservoir, hose, and so...

This modular bookshelf is a great project for beginning woodworkers and you veteran woodworkers as well. Requiring only 2 boards to build and a limited amount of tools, this project can be made in a day or a weekend. the design can be modified by building more cubes or changing the orientation of the unit itself. Add some color and it makes a great display and shelving unit for a kids room. Give it a try.
