Yes I did use a pattern gotten out of one of the recent ScrollSaw Magazines. Made 2 copies of overall pattern, one to use as a guide when placing the cut pieces together and keeping them in order, the other to make numerous copies on my home printer to attach to the selected woods by using clear shelf paper with glue on one side found at Home Depot. These then are cut out to match any adjoining piece and placed on my master copy. Once completed with cut outs, creat the different depths you...

This is what I came up with.Rosewood top and bottom. White oak with dark mission oak stain. Medallion is pre 1930’s silver. 1 3/8 Dia.Plan is to velcro the cup in the center box and get some lace to dress it out. Box is 3 3/4 sq and 1 7/8 tall.Ring cup is about 1 3/4 square and made from teak.

We have a store chain in Maine that buys up other going out of business or damaged goods stuff and sells it in their stores. It’s called Mardens. It’s full of stuff. On any day you might see a bunch of GE refrigerators from a buy out of a furniture store going out of business, or a bunch of stuff from various stores in a hurricane damaged area. I’ve purchasted 99 cent twelve inch bessey F clamps, and $10 sixty inch bailey parallel cabinet clamps. Not to mention the LLbean s...

I have over the past few weeks been able to start taking some overstock merchandise, merchandise that the customer either forgot about or didn’ t have the funds to pay after the customer used the companies sharpening service. Some of the blades, router bits and some shaper bits , I will be keeping for my self but, to be albe to buy more I have to sale items I don’t normally use or if there is way more of an item or group of items than I can use myself. Recently I purchased a Steam Bending Kit from Rockler Woodworking and Hardware so I could try out some Steam Bending.
