Here is the drawing I submitted. Just a preliminary drawing, but we will nail down some more details this coming week and will start building the following week. From Yala, Hakim and Michelle
I’ve made a little more progress on the snowman (he’s a filler project for when I only have 20 or 30 minutes to work in the shop). His nose is a piece of a dowel that sharpened pencil sharpener and then I carved it down a bit more with a utility knife and then sanded it a bit (not TOO much, its a carrot after all). His 3 button’s are all pieces from the same dowel. I need to apply a little wood filler in one or two places, sand that smooth, then put on the f...

So a few weeks back I posted some mid-project photoes of how my bandsaw build was going and although it is not entirley finished and still needs little extras like a coat of paint, a stand and a fence I can now show you the fully working and (built bandsaw). My wife and I unload the trucks and push the wood up to the second floor. The next shots are of the second f...
A guest on the show Dale Meiners shows us how to achieve a high gloss clear coated finish. This is a process and a rather lengthy one too.
We continue on with the build and get our dados sorted out.
http://charlesneilwoodworking.com/project_store.php Note there are other free videos available at this link for other projects. This is worth checking out. Videos on build projects and pdf files with patterns for some.I also siigned up for his weekly paid program when it first started and have learned much and enjoyed having a woodworking show to watch each week with details, not just highlighting a project.
