My Shop (Challenge Entry)

933 days ago by MsDebbieP | 24 comments »

Well, here goes!Boy was this an interesting process. I don’t own a video camera and so I had to use the built-in iSight on my MacBook. That means that I had to walk around holding my laptop, trying to watch where I was walking, balance the computer in my hands, think, and chew gum all at the same time! I purposely didn’t tidy up the shop prior to filming. 1) I was taking a break from a project in process and 2) well, this is probably its “natural” state. Hopefully ...

WHAT'S UP? "While I'm out in my Shop". #2: My report on yesterdays excursion to my shop.

I was concerned that the plastic window on it would get dirty because of static, but it stayed clear of dust. It also didn’t interfere with my work.My sweetheart was setting up her display of Dickens carolers yesterday, & mentioned she should have a light post. I surprised her, & made one for her. I’ll show it...

WHAT'S UP? "While I'm out in my Shop". #6: Revamping my Dust Collector ductwork

I just put this into this series to tie things together, but it’s not in the proper order, so bare with me.. Hi,Today, 6/21/2007, I changed the name on this blog, so members could find it easier. Things sure get haphazard, & messed up when you by a new piece of equipment, especially when you’re cramped for space. I bought a new planer about a year ago, & I’ve been in a tangle ever since. The first thing I had to do was rearrange all my power tools. After tha...
