This is a router table I’m working on for my shop. I was able to incorporate most the features I needed and plan to use it often. It isn’t finished but most the major parts are in place. I purchased the Incra twin linear, router table top, woodpeckers router lift and the porter cable 7518 motor from Woodpeckers Inc about 6 or 7 years back. Finally, she’s in working order.

Thanks for your interest in my new Spiral-End Mallet, based on the Lazy Larry Spiral Cheese Boards, by degoose. Obviously with the small size of the pieces, the band saw jig Larry uses wouldn’t work. So, No more messin’ around! Its time to cut the hole!
With my template all biscuited and glued up, I shaved off the other half of the biscuits and sanded everything flat. With a little sanding and shaving off the inside I got the router plate to fit perfectly inside. So I decided to use my fabricated router plate template to make a one-piece template. This way I could also test the accuracy of it.

well unfortunately i will not be able to have the table saw station that i was hoping for but a router table is something i need so i am making one on the side of my table saw. i started by cutting down all the MDF with my cousin pat’s (Anthrax) help. then i started putting the torsion box together. it is all based on where the bolts are for my table saw and in the center fitted for the rockler plate that i am planning on getting in the future just i don’t have the money now. so h...

I’ve been wanting to upgrade my router table and over time I’ve been accumulating the pieces. I’m building my table around the Incra LS 17 Router Fence and a Woodpecker PRL Router Lift.
I ended up ordering the 27 x 43 Woodpecker table top already drilled with a cutout for the LS 17 and the PRL.
I haven’t picked a router yet but I’m leaning toward one of the big PCs.
I’m basing my design loosely on Blake's Router Table.

This is the router table that I have been working on. It has been an interesting experience in that this is my first attempt at building a cabinet and drawers.
The cabinet itself is made out of 3/4” cabinet grade plywood. The end panels and back are aligned using #20 biscuits, and secured with glue and screws, while the center panels are set in dadoed grooves. Well I figure I’ll introduce myself by sharing a new series to document my latest project… yet another router table ;). This one is… well, will be, a cross between Norm’s, chazmonro's here at Lumberjocks, and jasnance's over at Flicker. I liked the idea of trying a torsion box. Not a lot of progress since the last entry but I have decided to go with simple box drawers with lock rabbeted joints.
I watched a video from Wood Magazine where they conducted strength tests on various joints. They concluded that the half lap, finger, and rabbeted joints were the strongest, stronger apparently than a dovetail for a drawer box. And it’s a lot simpler. So it may not be as cool as dovetails but I think it will be more than strong enough and will be quite a bit f...

About twenty some years ago I bought a professional door making router bit set made by Freud. Included in the set, which I still own and use even after making hundreds of doors with it, was plans for a router fence.
I bought the set for the first set of raised panel doors I made. The doors were for another contractor, and he needed them pretty quickly.

alright so now everything except for the fence is put together and it is looking awesome.
i added the apron and plugged all my holes with birch plugs just for the looks and i put on a coat of poly just to make the birch plugs turn brown because they are end grain so it looks cool, no other reason. i am planning on making the fence and also some form of dust collection and some storage for router bits and a couple other things. maybe even put some French cleats there. so here is a video...
