People post blogs and projects about mallets. I don’t have one but I’d like to make one. Do I want one small and knimble (Brass etc about 1 1.5lbs) or a 3 – 5 lb clunker. It was in the medium of a four lane road in southern California (Knotts Berry farm/ Disneyland) placed along with palm trees. I think I will be heading to Springfield, MO on Saturday for the Grizzly Tent Sale. As long as I can convince the wife not to kick me out afterwards that is. I have picked out the venner I will be useing for the top of my jewlery box. I decided on birds eye maple. Now alot of people said to get some kind of rosewood veneer, but the birds eye maple was so beautiful and I couldn’t resist. Well, I must say this has been a learning experience. Unfortunately I had to make a mistake to learn from it. From now on I will never attempt a project without having the hardware ahead of time.
