Has any one out there in Lj.com ever done any selling of there project on e-bay, and if so how did you do. I am thinking about trying it out one day even if just for some extra cash for more wood and tools. On a side note I know of a consignment shop near by that deals in furniture, has and one ever tried consignment.
I was thinking whether or not to make this a continuation of the veneering bog, however many items here have more to do with vacuum systems, than veneering. Hence a new Blog! Photo one is a Demilune Hall Table top jig. Photo two is a 30 inch long tee square which we use for biscuiting and routing duties. We make marks on the blue tape, were the biscuits go. When were done we replace the tape. Photo three is an 8” square that we use to biscuit cabinet sides on. P...
This blog entry shows how I install the small (1 inch diameter x 3mm thick) brass Makers-Marks on my projects. I like the traditional feel that the labels give a project. I prefer painting the recess black so that when the label is installed there is a small subtle black reveal line around the outside edge. This is strictly personal preference. Most of time when I’m going to start a new project. The first thing I do is search for pictures of the item I plan to build. When I finally find something that satisfies me, I aways like to modify the plan to my own taste. I toss the plan around inside my head for awhile. Then I haul out my drawing tools, & put it down on paper. I’ve found out that giving the plan some thought first, saves me a lot of erasing. It’s much easier to make a change when it’s still in yo...
