Well the Olympics is starting today and entries from all over the world are getting ready to look at your masterpieces.
What Woodworking Olympics event would you enter and be standing on the podium with your Gold Medal, or sliver or bronze, but in the least be up there for all to see what you are able to accomplish.
Stand proud we are all supporting you. All of your countrymen and women will chear your flag and your accomplishments.

Ok, so I called Woodcraft and Jet, the people at Jet were far easier to talk to and more appologetic of the situation, but regardelss, neither were able to offer me any good solution… So, not wanting to miss out on the price I got, and knowing that Woodcraft has a brick and mortar store here in Nevada (albeit it’s an 8 hour drive), I started thinking….

Okay, so I’m in the market for a plane that will help me clean up my tenons and maybe do some other tricks too. I’ve narrowed it down to a Stanley #78 rabbet plane and one of those skinny wooden shoulder planes that are so common on eBay (in fact, I just saw one listed for $9.99 that ended with no bids).
It seems that these two planes do mostly the same kind of thing, and that they would both work for tenons and rabbet joints. Right? But the Stanley #78 has the bullnose feature...
