I have been asked to do a tutorial on how I made my Box Joint Bracelet
I will be trying to go Step-By-Step and not leave anything out. I know I am missing a couple of pics but will try and explain things as good as I can.

Three lid choices.
DO NOT CUT THE LID TO SIZE UNTIL YOU ARE SURE OF THE STYLE OF BOX YOU WANT TO MAKE!
At the start of this tutorial I mentioned that we would look at three ways to make this box.
We are at a point in the project,where we need to decide how we want our lid to open.You will need to look at each type and decide which is your favorite or the easiest for you to make.

Now that we have our lid fitted to the box,we are ready to move onto the medallion.

I have been doing some thinking about Grain Matching corners. We all see boxes that the wood has been wraped around to match 3 corners, but the 4th is allways off. I think I have come up with a way to match all 4 sides.
I will be making a box when I can get back in the shop.(hurt my shoulder and LOML won’t let me play until next week) Will take step by step pics and post in this series for everyone.

I am working on yet another piece and thought I’d share me project so far with you guys.
The Magnolia ‘Salicifolia’ tree had stood in the grounds of the Inner Temple on London’s Thames for over 80 years but due to a fungus it had to come down.

So I started playing with Sketchup and came up with the basic concept for this combination bench. Here are few diagrams I put together:
Next for the combination of New Yankee Miter Bench/Ultimate Tool Stand, I will add the t-tracks, clamp tracks, miter fence, and create the pocket hole jig insert.

Well, its been awhile now so i figured that it was time for another shop tour. i have made a lot of shop additions in the past few months and i have gone from just a kid with a few tools to this now having a fully funtional shop and being able to sell my work and taking in commissions. so here is my updated shop tour

I’d been living with this board of burr / burl or pippy oak in the workshop for five or six years and must have picked it up and put it back down at least a hundred times (approx!).
