Had a bit more time this morning and late afternoon. I finished up building the legs then got them attached. Lot’s of cleanup work is required but the rest of my time will be spent making it just so. I decided to make the inside legs into triangles. It’s a lot less work, and as I understand it, sturdier. I go a little cleanup done of the top. I’m chomping at the bit to do some more work. Whew Doggie! It’s hot out there. You may have been through the same thing as me. Glue – clamp – look at the clock – look at the clock – look at the clock…. Either that or you’re gettin’ funky with the pin nailer. Today and Yesterday it was easy to allow for glue dry time. I work out of the garage and the temperature has been a over 100 for a while. I Cut – Glue – Clamp – and run inside to rehydrate. That glue up time was ...

After seeing an ad on craigslist for a garage sale that was going to have some rough cut lumber i figured i’d buzz over and check it out. Turned out for whatever reason the gentleman was getting out of woodworking and looking to sell a bunch of lunber he’s had drying in his garage for years. September 16, 2011 Our first granddaughter was born today, and although I had thought about it for some time leading up to her birth, other “more important things” just kept coming up, but now that she is here, I am seriously starting to build this cradle and don’t really think it will take more than a couple weekends of hard work.
