Greetings to all once again; I am attaching photos of the clamp for my new Biesmeyer style fence that is under construction. It came out fairly well. The circular pads are adjustable by carriage bolts threaded in to t-nuts to correct any undesired angularity. The ¾” dowel is a plunger that the cam pushes to lock the fence in place. The two piece pad that the dowel pushes will have an elastomer sandwiched between the pieces to provide a spring action so the cam can over clamp it...

Here are some more photos showing the progress of my saws cabinet. It fits perfectly where it’s supposed to then when I connect the outfeed table and Biesmeyer style fence to it there should be no problem with maintaining alignment.I think I’ll put about two feet out the back for the outfeed table not including the mounting/hinge area. I’m going to make my own hinges instead of purchasing them; just brackets with dowels for the pins. Then, probably 8...

Today I started working on a router table idea that I came up with. I currently have a router table (more like a cabinet really) but it takes up to much room in my shop. If you’ve read my profile you know that I only have 99 sq. ft. of main shop space, so maximizing space is a constant challenge. I’ve decided to move the left-hand table saw extension of my table saw to the right side and replace it with some material that could be used for a router table. The material I select...

The drill press is a terrific tool in the woodworking shop especially when it has a drill press table that conveniently clamps the work, provides a fence for repeatable and accurate cuts, and also offers a safer working environment. The drill press was originally set up for metal working and most tables that come with the drill press are small metal tables. As a result, the metal tables can be rather awkward for use in the woodworking shop.
A better solution for the woodworker is to buy...

This is a re-edit of the video that got me started doing videos. Unfortunately I knew very little about shooting and editing video at the time. In fact, I shot the video with a web cam, so the video quality is poor in parts. The re-edit gives it a nice face lift, but perhaps in the future, when I run low on topics, I can re-shoot the video. (Full steam ahead on Router Inlay!)

I’m building an 18” V-Drum Sander from http://www.stockroomsupply.com/V_Drum_Sander.php Stockroom Supply. I was given a Particle Board piece to use as a top it’s laminated with a thin slick veneer top and bottom. I’d like to band the edges with Oak that I already cut and mitered. The question is how to attach the Oak to the Particle Board edges? I’m read plenty of horror stories about splitting the Particle Board when using screws and/or nails to attach it. ...

Once I had the cabinet home I (she) had to decide how she wanted to set up all the electronics. We (she) decided it would be better if both the top and bottom sections had doors on them, and we needed to put a couple shelves in to hold the dvd player, vcr, etc…
Space in the upper opening is a little tight so there will be just enough room for a shelf, and by taking out one of the drawers we can put another shelf in the lower cabinet.
This is what I got accomplished shortly after ...
