My 35 Year Old Table Saw (part one)

This is my tablesaw… There are many like it but this one is mine. For 35 years, eight major moves (including a very cold stint to Canada) multiple minor moves, being broiled, and frozen, and dropped, this saw has been my partner in woodworking magic. My BT3100 Table Saw Upgrades

Years ago when I just needed a cheap table saw for misc household projects, I bought a Ryobi BT3100 at Home Depot. At that time, it was cheap and was one of the nicer ones for the money. Now, years later, as I am getting back into woodworking, I need a good saw that will handle jigs and such. I know this is a divided topic – some LOVE it, some HATE. Receiving and modification of new ShopFox Sander

Received this Sander 10/29/2013 which was purchased from Amazon. It came very quickly as usual. Delivery was within 10 minutes of time they said. WOW!! Delivery guy helped set the heavier of the 2 perfect looking packages on my rolling table so that I could slide it off onto the base cabinet after unpacking. While unpacking found disc cover had taken a very bad hit (must have been before packing as the box showed no damage). As this was not Amazons or the trucking company fault I emailed...
