POINT TO POINT #3: The finale
The hardest part of the series… the final part. I thought it would be simple to cut the lid. It should be easy to use a saw but that would create a kerf that will give error on the design. I use a knife (cutter) with a new blade and start to push it through on one corner then it goes on. The wood and the veneer still tough even with .5 thickness. There is no turning back on this…. The lips … I have to make 45 degrees cut by using the same 45 deg bit for my router. ...
